Katina Knox
Director of Schools
As Director of Schools, Knox will support fellows in the process of replicating high-quality public school operators in Indianapolis. She will also compile and analyze fellowship outcomes through surveys and case studies while maintaining a library of fellow support that can be deployed and personalized to aid current and future fellows.
Knox has served in both the charter and traditional public school sectors in Indianapolis. She has been a teacher, special education coordinator, assistant principal, principal, and director of curriculum. She most recently worked as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at George and Veronica Phalen Leadership Academy. She has held different leadership roles for the Phalen Leadership Academies network since 2016 and has been an educator for 14 years.
Knox has been honored with Indiana Black Expo’s African American Excellence in Education Award. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Marian University and a master’s degree in Education and Organizational Leadership from the University of Dayton.
