Emerging Leader Fellow Phoebe Rusie plans to further impact Allegiant Prep Academy.
Phoebe Rusie currently serves as the Founding Assistant Principal at Girls IN STEM Academy and has over 10 years of experience in education. Previously, Phoebe has held various teaching, leadership, and coaching positions at different schools and community organizations in Indianapolis. She is excited to bring her system’s knowledge of the Paramount Schools of Excellence to Girls IN STEM Academy to further impact the girls in our community and help close the academic achievement gap for women in the STEM fields.
In addition to her school-based experience, Rusie was a participant in the 2017 Teach Plus Education Policy Fellowship and also coached first-year teachers for Indianapolis Teaching Fellows for two summers. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from DePauw University, her Master of Art in Teaching from Marian University, and completed the Building-Level Administrator licensure program provided by Marian University.
