New Strategic Plan

In July 2021, The Mind Trust launched Advancing Educational Equity, a six-year strategic plan aimed at tripling the number of students in Indianapolis’ Center Township who are academically proficient.

Specifically, The Mind Trust will focus on improving outcomes for Black, Latino, and low-income students. Advancing Educational Equity prioritizes a pursuit of anti-racism throughout our work as a means of providing equitable educational opportunities to Indianapolis students.

The Mind Trust will execute on this goal by:

  • Continuously pursuing racial equity
  • Ensuring students have access to high-quality schools and educators
  • Empowering families and communities
  • Sustaining a strong education landscape in Indianapolis
