Teachers want freedom to speak their minds

Over the past decade, my colleagues and I have sought many of the changes that The Mind Trust proposes. I have been elected by my colleagues to serve on many committees to offer teacher advice, ideas, requests and to challenge the status quo as ineffective or just plain wrong. My colleagues and I have been met with opposition more frequently than not.
