Indiana Department of Education receives $59M grant for charter schools

The Indiana Department of Education has announced Indiana has been named the recipient of the United States Department of Education’s Expanding Opportunity Through Quality Charter School Program (CSP) grant.

“Indiana is committed to ensuring our students receive a quality education,” said Dr. Jennifer McCormick, Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction. “This federal grant specifically targets the implementation, administration, research and evaluation of charter schools.”
